DANE HAYLETT-PETTY

As a professional athlete, I know what I put into my body is key to my performance. Since starting Nourish and Feed five years ago, I’ve learnt a lot about the food system and now question where my food is coming from and how it got there.

After discovering the damage our eating habits have on the environment, I realised how vital it is not just to eat well, but sustainably and ethically too. I’m excited to build a business that can positively impact people’s daily lives without all the external costs.

SARAH HAYLETT-PETTY

Prior to Nourish and Feed I was working in the Advertising industry. It was fast-paced and I loved it, but I was constantly struggling to keep a work/life balance. It was difficult to find healthy food that was quick and easy to buy, and I knew that if I struggled with this, that others surely would too! I felt that there was a gap in the food market.

In 2015 Nourish and Feed was built around the idea of helping busy people lead healthier lifestyles, however in the past seven years it has grown even bigger than that. We have created a passionate community and are committed to building a transparent supply network and having a positive impact on the food system and the environment at large.

HANNAH MEREDITH

Having studied hospitality, and working within the industry for 10 years, when the opportunity came about to be a part of the direction and growth of Nourish and Feed, I was fully behind the concept of being able to deliver healthy food fast, and in an ethically and sustainable way.

I'm most passionate about the people and creating great culture from within. To me, great people within an organisation are the foundation to a successful business. I'm excited for the next steps we have in store, from a growth perspective and being able to positively make a difference in so many people's lives. I'm confident in what we do and our product – healthy food.

Our grass fed and ethically farmed beef and lamb supports West Aussie regenerative farmers and helps the planet at the same time.

The world’s current food system accounts for 34% of carbon emissions and, in turn, is one of the leading causes of climate change. Dirty Clean Food is working to reinvent the way the world grows, thinks about and buys food, so we can stick a fork in climate change.

Our farmers practise regenerative agriculture, which, in a nutshell means that they are:

  • Enriching the soil so that it’s teaming with microbes, bugs and worms and increasing the ability of the soil to absorb and hold water

  • Increasing biodiversity and bringing more life to the area

  • Sequestering carbon and tipping the balance back into our climate’s favour

  • Raising animals with care and respect, with grazing practices that allow animals to roam free

  • And ultimately, inspiring and strengthening communities.

By connecting you directly with our regenerative farmers, we can more fairly reward them for this important work, as well as get this nutritious, tasty produce on your plate.
